The Grill Gives Back

North Beach Bar & Grill celebrates 30 years by helping Tybee Island non-profits

Donate to Save the Tybee Island Lighthouse

The Tybee Island Historical Society’s Board of Directors and staff have been dedicated to preserving the Tybee Island Lighthouse and property for over 45 years. Our mission is to preserve the site as well as educate the more than 120,000 visitors from all over the world who visit us every year. We have a partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard to help keep the light, an active aid to navigation still, burning bright. We own the building and the Coast Guard owns the light. In the last 8 years, we have invested over 1 million dollars in preservation work just on the lighthouse alone, and this coming year we will invest 1.6 million dollars more. Our goal is to make sure that our stoic sentinel sits strong and steadfast for generations to come.matter how small, makes a significant impact on preserving our beloved lighthouse.
